This page presents items from factories that were based in and around Nuremberg (Germany). The book "Das Nürnberger Kunsthandwerk des Jugendstils" by Claus Pese was most helpful for compiling the information on this page.

Hans Knorr was a craftsman that worked in Nuremberg, mainly engraving metalwork. In 1901 he started a workshop and began producing metalwork of his own. He took part in the masterclasses that were given by Peter Behrens (1901 and 1902) and Richard Riemerschmid (1903) at the Bayerischen Gewerbemuseum in Nuremberg. Hans Knorr always worked alone, until his workshop closed in 1915.
